Ice Balls

Stop Thinking Dirty Thoughts!! Don't Judge A Post By It's Title!! :) LOL

Anyway, Here are some pictures of a certain specimen of ice figures that we (Matt and I) dug up under some ice that covered a flowing river in Buena Vista. I think they were formed by water carving them out, but they're beautiful anyway. These are the best pictures I got though wit my phones limited camera. Oh, and I fell throught the ice while up their....soaked my shoe. HAHA. Actually, both shoes. Oh, back on track.....pictures....

What did I tell you? Ice Baubles. :)

And, some attached to a chunk of ice...

And even more....

Beautiful Right? Well, thanks for looking!

Thinking....and More Thinking

This is some little tidbit of life that I have seriously only now come to realize. I think if I had realized this before, then I wouldn't have gotten so attached to my things. And if I hadn't gotten so attaced to my stuff, I wouldn't have been in for such an ugly surprise when it was taken away. Here's my revelation.....

"Everything you own that is materialistic that your parents have either paid for or stored, is only there for the purpose of your superiors taking it away as a punishment for a wrongdoing."

I know that sounds depressing and all, but if you think about it, isn't it rather true? If you have anything contradicting that please tell me. I am kind of confused on this, but that''s the best I could make out of it.

The Revenge of....Me! (Part 2)

Warning: Read "The Revenge of....Me! (Part 1)" first!

So the next morning my mom flips on my light at 6:00am, flounces into my room, sits on the edge of my bed, and says, "Let me tell you a story." Now, I had no idea whatsoever of last nights happening as I grunt announcing my awakeness. She proceeds to tell me that from 9:00 - 11:00 last night she had been kept awake by a slight, but electronic vibrating noise that seemed to reoccur faithfully every 2 minutes. For an hour she tried to sleep it off, but finally got fed up and went to look for the thing. An hour went by and her quiet, nighttime search went on as she got more and more frustrated. Finally, after an hour, she sat down on the edge of her bed and thought, What could I possibly have in my room electronic besides my alarm clock and heating blanket? Then she said, "Then it hit me. I went over to the closet and picked up your phone and sure enough, it was vibrating every 2 minutes to tell you that you had 5 text messages." We started to have a great laugh, but then my alarm clock went off full blast. Well every morning I have to throw myself on the ground and scramble across the floor to turn it off or else I fall back to sleep. This particular morning my mom was in my way, so I without a moments hesitation sprang over/sideways/into/around my mom in a mad crawl to the alarm clock whose plug I almost tore out of its side. The unfortunate thing, was that in this process I had accidentally barely kicked my mom in the face. Yeah. What a morning. :) She then told me another story of how, again with my phone (that I normally have an alarm on at 6:00am to get me up) of how it had gone off this morning. When she loked at it, it had displayed the title, which I named "Get the hell up." HAHAHA. So here is my phone depriving her of two hours sleep, then telling her at 6:00am to get the hell up. HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! I certainly know how to get revenge.....without even knowing it.

Comment if this made you laugh! :)

The Revenge of....Me! (Part 1)

So pretty much I told my mom what I really thought on a subject or two and she immediately confiscated my phone, computer.....everything. So now I just got them back and I'm trying to make up for some of the missed days during January. Anyway, when she took my phone and computer away, she put them, phone on top of computer in the bottom of her closet. LOL Now, you have to realize that I stay up waaayyy later then she thinks I do. So this means that people know they can text me at all hours of the night. Well, needless to say, my mom has the ears of a fricking hawk in her sleep (some natural mom instinct) and my phone vibrating on top of my metal computer was just enough to......

The Hunger Games/Catching Fire

OMG! I haven't been so entwined in a book series for ages. So Jenny recommended these books to me and lent me the first two (since she is still reading the last book). I devoured the first book in one night after Suessical practice and managed to start on the next before my mom came in at 9:30pm to order me to go to sleep. So officially, I ended that night on page twenty-three of "Catching Fire." The problem was, with all the anticipation, I simply could not go to sleep, so as soon as I heard my mom snoring, I was back to the adventures of Katniss and Peeta. I got about to page 260 (Slowly and quietly turning pages and reading slower due to exhaustion) before turning my little lamp off and collasping...at midnight. (Note: I had just gone through the most depressing day of my life AND a grueling session of dancing, tripping, and all around Suess-mayhem) Either way, I read the rest of my book in my spare time during periods one through for in school. The odd thing is, everyone tells me the first is the best, the second is OK, and the third is sad and awful. Well I found the second just as satisfying as the first....maybe.....and I eagerly await when Jen gets back from Florida so I can steal the third installment, "Mockingjay," from her. I can honestly say that I have been starved of new, adventuresome books lately. Normally, I stick with my Bryan Davis books, but I cannot express in words how overjoyed I am to find a book of my style that I cannot quote from cover to cover. :) I also want to thank Annie from Random Anno for originally mentioning these to me.
