Comments Resolved

Thank you Mary for telling me that I had comment security, I had no idea. And thank you also to Mary and Annie for removing the security on your blogs, I'm sure I'll be commenting more often :) BTW: For all of you that want to know, to change the security you go to design on the blue bar on the top of you blog screen. After that go to the tab called "Settings," choose the sub-tab "Comments," and scroll down until you reach the option "Word Verification" and turn it off. So....yeah! Coolio.

Llamas with Hats 2-4

OMG, I totally forgot to tell you that I also discovered some add-ons by the same people that are even funnier than the first. I've like memorized all of them. LOL. Literally. Here's the rest....

Llamas with Hats 2

Llamas with Hats 3

Llamas with Hats 4

Llamas with Hats

I have just found what I believe to be the best YouTube video ever! So far, it hasn't been beat. I can't remember where or who I got this from, but just enjoy it anyways. :)

Punk'd

Have any of you guys ever seen the show Punk'd. I think its pretty funny. My favorite so far is the newest one where Justin Beiber pranks Taylor Swift into thinking she lit a boat on fire and ruined a wedding and blah blah blah... It was hilarious! Taylor is obviously a hopless romantic because she was devastated and freaking out about the wedding thing and...yeah...you guys should watch it. :) As you can see, I am desperately trying to reach my, "20 posts a month" goal. LOL

Shopping with 3 Females

Wow, Ok, so my mom, my two sisters, and I "bombed" the house today, which is just filling the house with poisonous, bug-killing fog that dissipates within three hours. Pretty awesome because it gets rid of all the bugs during spring and summer. I demanded that we do it because last night I found a giant spider in my bed, and so....yeah. Anyway, we had to lend the pets out to our neighbor for three hours while we went to Village Inn, The Arc, and then Khol's. OMG Khol's! I hate Khol's! I was dragged along as my sisters tried on dresses and pants and shirts and other...things...for an hour. AN HOUR! And just guess what they ended up getting.1 Fricking Bra!!! I don't care how awkward that sounds coming from me, because I was so pissed! UGH, you girls are just beyond everything....WOW. :P OK, ranting and raving done. Really though, I was so pissed off....

Commenting

FOR EVERYONE ELSE WHO HAS A BLOG!!!!
Mary, Annie, Roni

Peeps, I would love to comment and respond to everyone else's posts and such, but for those of you who have a security thing on your comments, its impossible. My whacked-out, (beeeeeeeeepity-beep-beep), sucky laptop wont show the letters. Lets do math here. :D
If A is the letters appearing.....
And B is me typing in the letters into the security bar.....
And C is the comment being posted....
And D is the letters not appearing.....

(A + B + D = C) = ME NOT BEING ABLE TO COMMENT! :)

So, yeah, I don't know how that security makes a difference, because you can always delete the comments anyway, but it's preventing me from commenting. So, uh, yeah. :) If you guys were wondering wy I don't visit your blog, I do. :P Thanks!

Jumbo Sequence

So, we just got this great game called sequence in the Jumbo package, it's an awesome game. I love it, but I also love cards, so if you don't like cards and stratagy, don't play. :) Sorry for the picture being sideways. I didn't want to have to go through Picnik. So, yeah, short and sweet. Bye!

Blog Appearance

Yeah, yeah, I know. I've been messing around with the template designer gadget do-hicky and its pretty awesome. So, I like the new stuff. I'll probably be making more and more changes and you might not recognize it but yes, its still here. :) So, rate the new look 1 to 10. I need to know if it looks good people, so please comment! :P

PS: To Annie from Random Anno: If by some miracle you read this, I want to tell you that there is no way for me to comment on your blog. I suggest that you remove that safety thing, because the letters wont appear for me. I don't know if its just me, but there you go. And also, if any of you are having problems commenting or stuff on my blog, email me at jalapandro@gmail.com. Thank you!

Listen to This...

So I have a good friend whom I've known for quite some time recently enter somewhat of a relationship with another friend. Now I know that both of these people will be reading this post so I will call them Caleb and Hannah. So Hannah is really down and texts me the weirdest question I've ever had to answer. She said, "Why would someone care about me? Well, being a bit flabbergasted I answered with several responses including how God cares, how parents care (or are suppose to), how boyfriends care, how friends care, and lastly, how I care in a loving sister protective sense if you get my drift. Well, I thought that was a good, solid answer, but I was still lightly tiptoeing around because I knew she must be really depressed or something to ask that. Well, she hit me with another slammer asking if I thought that Caleb cared about her. Now here's where Caleb comes in; Caleb cannot date yet but Hannah can and they have decided to wait until their older so that they can officially start the relationship. I believe that Caleb doesn't fully grasp the fullness of what a relationship entails, and doesn't exactly have the maturity to carry it out. (then again, not many do, including myself) Yeah, already setting up for either great success, or heartbreaking failure, but none in between. Just kidding, but do you see my point of view? Anyway, I think Hannah was just asking to feel a little security....in Caleb....I guess. Anyway, back tot he underlined bit. Truthfully I had to think about this one for a bit. But I finally came up with this answer....

"Honestly, I think that (Caleb) thinks that he cares about you. I think that's how all of us are. The fact is, no one in our society except for quality parents for their children, seems to know what caring really truly entails. Caring is an outcome of love. An example is a well-known story of two soldiers, and when the grenade comes between them, one man dives onto the grenade shielding the other and laying his life down for his friend. That is true brotherly love. Sacrifice. It's truly loving someone to the point where you would lay down your life for them. That is the potency of caring and not a ton of people realize that. Even myself. So when we offhandedly say caring nowadays, it means more of "will they listen to me and hold me." So yes, I think Caleb "cares" for you. Our perception of love says that, yes, he cares for you. But how deep that care goes, I wouldn't be able to tell you."

Good answer huh? I thought so, and my fingers were sore and it took like five messages to send it, but that's not the point. It got me thinking, Do I really know what it means to care for someone that much? Can you still care for someone if it's just an offhanded caring? Can you still call it caring? For the few people that I "care" about, how deep does my love go? Now I'm not talking about secular society love. Love isn't just between man and woman or deep relationships (which I won't even get into), its that purest emotion? feeling? drive? motivation? of all that can exist only because of God. God is love, and it is only through Him that we can love others, truly love others. Love is just such a huge and sometimes confusing topic. I don't think I can even say that I love my friends. I mean, I can imagine laying down my llife for certain people without much thought because I have such a bond to them. But God calls us to love and lay down our lives for our ENEMIES. ENEMIES???! Those people that I hate!? Yes, and I cannot even fathom doing that. Especially for my immediate family. I would probably kill my sisters. Yeah, this is how far off I am from the truth here.

Now I'm not saying at all that I have any of this or maturity or love or even God for that matter. I am merely putting my thoughts into words so that anyone can see what I'm realizing and pondering. Isn't it a tricky subject? If anyone has anything to add, please do so. I would like to see everyone else's point of view here. Thanks for listening to my ramblings. :)

Panera Bread

First, I have not posted for a while because I had my computer taken away for a little bit, yeah, fun, I know. Anyway, second, I had my first experience at Panera Bread during the play that I forgot to post about. So me and two other cast members, Meg and ******, went to Panera Bread in between the matinee (hey, it looks like the word manatee) and evening performances. The picture below is proof. It looked so yummy I had to take a picture. But it was a painting hanging on the wall at Panera...yeah....a bagel. OK, so pretty much, I really liked it....and the overpriced food. :) Good steamed broccoli. :P

Seussical Performances

Wow, sorry for really skimping on blog posts for a while. As an excuse, we had our Seussical performances. Yippee!! But now there all over. I guess I'm kinda sad, but relieved at the same time, now I can catch up on grades. Our performances were Thursday, Friday, and Saturday Matinee and Night. Yeah, talk about dead tired and stressful. We've had practices for three to four months and delivered an outstanding performance. I thought it was fun mostly because I got to act cool for once in my life. I love being onstage. But yeah, a ton of people came including Yoski and Bopha from other blogs. So, yeah....they went really well but they were some of the most exhausting thngs I've ever done, especially two right after each other.
Afterwards, we went to the cast party where we watched a video of the play that we didn't have. :P We NAILED "Biggest Blame Fool." OK, yeah, then we had a dance party till like midnight which was awesome but I believe involved some grinding. (0,0) Then Fellow Wickersham Brother Monkey in the play named jeff drove me home in his SWWEEEEEETT car! Yeah, music blasting, speeding, making awesome drift curves on neighborhood streets, it was a blast! Yeah, pretty cool. OK. I've got a ton more writing to do so I'd better stop this post. :)

The Lorax

So, this weekend, I went out with a bunch of people from my Seussical cast and went to Noodles and Company for the first time, which was absolutely fantastic. I mean, I've never just hopped in a car with some friends and gone to a place to hang out or whatever and it was a really neat experience for me. The Noodles dish was fabby! After that, I hitched a ride with someone else to the movie theater where the entire cast met up to see the Lorax. Now you might say thats a bit overrated for a bunch of high schoolers, but hey, were in SEUSSical. We just had to the the Dr. SEUSS movie. :) Overall, it opened my eyes to another world with good friends. Very Fun!
Also, the Lorax, I wanted to talk about it. I thought it was a very cute movie with a great moral of how money can corrupt anything and everything. IN my opinion, it receives a solid 7.5, maybe eight, but I didn't like the whole relationship deal. The character is a bit young for that. So yeah, highly recommend the movie. Love the little teddy bear creatures and the singing fish, but I freaked with joy when the fish started singing the intro to Mission Impossible. My favorite movies ever!!

Blonde Joke!

There was a blonde who found herself sitting next to a Lawyer on an airplane. The lawyer just kept bugging the blonde wanting her to play a game of intelligence. Finally, the lawyer offered her 10 to 1 odds, and said every time the blonde could not answer one of his questions, she owed him $5, but every time he could not answer hers, he'd give her $50.00. The lawyer figured he could not lose, and the blonde reluctantly accepted.

The lawyer first asked, "What is the distance between the Earth and the nearest star?"

Without saying a word the blonde handed him $5. then the blonde asked, "What goes up a hill with 3 legs and comes back down the hill with 4 legs?"

Well, the lawyer looked puzzled. He took several hours, looking up everything he could on his laptop and even placing numerous air-to-ground phone calls trying to find the answer. Finally, angry and frustrated, he gave up and paid the blonde $50.00

The blonde put the 50$ into her purse with no comment, but the lawyer insisted, "What was the answer to your question?"

The blonde just handed him a five dollar bill.

I loved this one. Hope you do too!

Hug A GI Day

So, apparently, today was "Hug A GI Day." Now this day was made up by a GI, and your supposed to hug at least one GI today. But I have one dilemma....what's a GI? Does anyone know and if so, can you tell me through the comments below? Thanks!

Seussical Set and Painting and Whatnot

So until 3:00 pm today I was in school, but then I got a quick break at my house before going right back to school to help out with an optional Seussical project of building and painting the set. It was so much fun! I personally love painting, so this was my line of work. :) Our set consists of four different levels of Dr. Seuss "books" (huge wood platforms painted as certain books) stacked on top of each other with a giant book stretching over the center entrance as a bridge. It looks fantastic and I'm very proud of it. I'm the only kid who stayed for clean-up though, so that was a little disappointing. But we have a great cast, great people, awesome directors and coordinators, exciting songs, complicated dances, hilarious comedy, and soo much in-the-fine-print talent that this WILL be a mind-blowing show.

First Concert Ever!

So I have to sum this all up really quick because I got four hours of sleep last night and I have an early call time tomorrow.

OK, so yesterday I woke up at 6:00 am, went to school at 7:00 am, arrived at Seussical at 3:00 pm, was picked up by Matt and his brother at 5:30 pm, stood outside Rocky Mountain Calvary until 6:10 pm, had the time of my life at my first concert ever till 10:15 pm, helped the Newsboys crew take down the set to get to their next appointment till 10:30 pm, and arrived back home at 10:45 pm. Yeah, my mom was pretty mad. =) LOL! And yes, I did not go home once that day. Anyway, I got to check off something on my bucket list, going to a concert. Matt invited me to a roadshow of City Harmonic, Anthem Lights, Abandoned, and one other band tagging along with the Newsboys on a tour. Yeah....talk about awesome. Out of the piddly bands Anthem Lights was my favorite. Just so everyone knows, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! go to anthemlights.com for more information. :P Anyway, its now a day later and my ears still hate my guts. :D That music was sooo loud it wasn't even funny. My ears still ring from time to time. Not cool for someone like me whose not accustomed to loud music. But the Newsboys were abso-bally-lutely-flipping-top hole amazing!! They sang, like, a dozen songs. Even doing an encore. And I got to help their stage crew pack up all the equipment so they could make their next appointment in southern Arizona by the next morning or something. Fun! The lights during the show were fantastic and awesome, and I seriously have never seen anything like it in my life! Yeah..... It was awesome. I have never screamed that loud or long, but you kind of get into the groove when your hearing one of your fav bands live. Yeah, thanks for listening to my ramblings though. IT WAS AWESOME!!
