Some SPOILERS!!Wow, another spectacular performance by Denzel Washington! This movie is not something I would recommend to everyone, but I certainly enjoyed it. It is a post-apocalyptic movie so it is practically swimming in language and morbid, dark circumstances. Skeletons, "many", guns and fighting, "Yep", drinking "Some", Language "Defintely". It is the story of a man, Eli, called by God who struggles to cross what's left of the United States to deliver the last copy of the King James Bible to a people collecting, protecting, and copying everything they can salvage from the world before the war. The war, as it seems, punctured a hole in the ozone layer and the sun burned most of the planet and it inhabitants. Now scattered groups of people fight and kill to survive on anything leftover. This movie is not something everyone would enjoy, but it does provide a whole new perspective on the end of the world, God and his covering over his followers, blind faith, and the power of the Bible.
